How do I book a session with you?
Booking is easy! Simply contact me through my website/contact form or send an email to info@flicksbywhitney.com. We'll discuss your needs, preferred date, location, and any specific details to ensure your day goes smoothly.
What should I wear for my photo session?
It’s best to wear clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable! For family sessions, coordinating outfits (but not matching exactly) can create a cohesive look. Avoid overly bright colors or logos that may distract from the photos. If you have questions, I can always offer suggestions based on your session type.
How long do photo sessions usually last?
The duration depends on the type of session. For example:
Portrait or headshot sessions usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Engagement or wedding photography can range from 2 hours to an entire day.
Event photography often lasts from a few hours to the entire event.
I'll give you an estimated time frame when we discuss the details of your session.
What is the turnaround time for receiving my photos?
Typically, I provide a preview of your session within 3 days, and the full gallery within 6 weeks. The exact timeline can vary based on the type of session and the number of photos taken.
Do you provide prints or albums?
Yes! I offer high-quality prints, canvases, and albums. I can assist you in selecting the best products to showcase your photos. Just let me know if you're interested in any physical prints after your session.
Can I bring props to the shoot?
Absolutely! If you have any props you'd like to incorporate, feel free to bring them along. It can be something personal, like a family heirloom, or something fun that fits the theme of your session. We can discuss what would work best for your photos.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my session?
I understand that things can come up. If you need to reschedule, please give me at least 10 days' notice. Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled shoot may incur a cancellation fee. We can always find a new date that works for both of us.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes, I do! I’m happy to travel for your session, whether it’s a local destination or farther away. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, so please contact me with your location for a custom quote.
What is your princing?
Pricing varies depending on the type of session and any additional services required (like albums, prints, or travel). Please reach out for a personalized quote.
Do you have experience with large events?
Yes! I have extensive experience shooting large events such as weddings, corporate events, and parties. I always arrive early to scout the location and ensure I capture all the important moments.
Can you help me plan my session?
Absolutely! I’m happy to assist with planning. Whether it's finding the right location, choosing outfits, or suggesting poses, I’ll be there to guide you through the process to ensure your session is enjoyable and successful.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my outdoor shoot?
If we’re shooting outdoors and the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can either reschedule or move to an indoor location. I’ll keep you updated as the day approaches and offer backup options to ensure your session is still a success.
